Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?

I think if I was to vacation on my own, I would pack up and head to New York, and then with the clothes on my back and a couple hundred dollars, i would head west, and see what I could find. See how much 300$ and a camera will get me.

Most people at my school have a Myspace. It's a phenomenon that most junior high and senior kids find or get found by. But now, its all about style. No one visits your page if its the bare color clashing base page without any pictures, content, videos, etc. But I've come across five cool things that will help your myspace.

1.MyGen is a cool site with a good series of generators to perk up your page to be a great place for viewers. Dont be the sucker with the premade car or retro-flower layout with the little advertisement in the upper-left corner. Be the original one with the cool layout that they designed themselves. Make this the base for your new page's look, plan your items to scheme.

2.Last FM is a newer underground site with a cool new approach to music. Using their technique known as "Scrobbling" you can look for an artist you enjoy, and the site will play bands that are similar in sound as well as the artist you selected. The music will continue as long as you have the window open, and can be adjusted and reposted. I even have one of these mini, customizable objects on my lower right side of my page. I selected "Brian Jonestown Massacre" and it plays a new song every time i come to my page, no annoying 2 second clip of an intro of music I listen to all the time.

3.MyHeritage is a fun little extra thing to have on your page for your friends to gawk at, and you can brag, "Ive got Jesse McCartney's eyes" or "Ive got Ashton Kutcher's nose." Thanks to MyHeritage, a beta site that will let you upload a picture of yourself, and using a cool face mapping technique it will match your face up with a celebrity and will create a small upload able video or picture to put on your page of you and your celebrities.

4.YouTube is a world renowned site with a cornucopia of videos ranging from kids messing around with their friends up to new releases of movies, products and breaking news coverage. Its good to have a video or two on your page. For some people, they even prefer to upload their own, maybe with an opinionated rant on a debated subject, or maybe just them with their friends. I personally keep three of my favorites on my page. Secret Sniper, LOST Chipmunk and a video that I change every once in a while. Be careful not to put too many videos up, or your page will slow down and be too hard for most people to access without a major computer freeze from ten different videos loading. (REMEMBER, you can keep videos off of your page, but in your videos page now that they are supported by myspace.

5.INFO!Dont be one of those idiots who just puts "Hi." in their about me section, and stupid things in their heroes section. Dont waste the "Who id like to meet" section with personality tests saying your vanilla or your a bicycle. Because we know you're not. Fill up your page with intriguing facts and other things about yourself. But be careful not to reveal any information about where you live to people you don't know, use the privacy settings to fix that.

Well, I hope these things helped you develop a better page. Dont give your information away to strangers, and don't be a "Net-ho" and accept every strange friend invite you get. Use the site what its meant for and have fun with it.

What's your favorite card game?

I would have to say my favorite card game is BullShit. Chiefly because I OWN at BullShit.
Also, my lack of knowledge of many others furthers this enjoyment of BullShit.

For any of you who dont know, the card game is played with around four people
and an Ace is set in the center, the first person can set down as many twos as he wants, he places them face down and says _ twos.  If someone thinks that this is untrue, (ex he said 3 twos and there are 2 in your hand. Only 4 in the deck) You say Bullshit, and if he was lying, he gets the pile added onto his hand, if he was telling the truth, you get the pile added onto your hand, the game continues as such, 3,4,5 and eventually goes back to ace. First one to get rid of their hand wins.

Thats why I love Bull-shit.

So far, my Friday the 13th has not been as bad as i thought it would be.
I got out of bed early and got myself some breakfast (gogurt :D its summer) and then proceeded to the alarm infested camp household which went over without any police sirens or annoyed neighbors. Then I came back, worked on my Vox/Myspace. And am planning to go play on WoW.

Alright. So apparently the month of July is the month EVERYONE decided to leave on vacation. Including our neighbors the Camps. They recently left for Mexico on Thursday morning and decided to have me watch their dog and cat, a cocker spaniel named Cooper and an orange geriatric cat named Lucy. Both sweet animals but the family tends to drop the ball on vacations. So I have a history with them.

About a year ago I was stopped by Mrs.Camp who asked me casually on a Thursday evening
"Are you going to be around this weekend?"
I replied
"Yes. I'm pretty sure I will be"
"I was wondering if you could watch cooper & lucy?"
I replied
"Ya I might be able to"
"cool!"

Sunday night we get a call
"So hows cooper and lucy?"
"...what?"
"were you watching them"
"nooooo..."

Left me no garage code or dates or instructions or anything.

We hurry over expecting chaos. They've been gone for 2 days, no food or water. but leave it to superdog cooper to be able to not poo or pee in the house AT ALL.

This incident repeated itself oncemore several months later.

So I go over to check on him today, they asked me from thurs afternoon to sun morn. So i said sure
and went over this afternoon
I punched in the garage code

And I might add, after the recent rains through Texas we have had a broken gate into our neighborhood. A string of crimes including several home & car break-ins have been appearing and had all of the residents on edge. The man was actually caught earlier this week, Ironically he lived one neighborhood across from us.

And I walk into the house and suddenly
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!
They forgot to un-arm their alarm and or tell me the code to disarm it myself.
Moments later...
BEEP BEEEEEP BEEP BEEEEEEP BEEP BEEEEEEP BEEP BEEEEEEP.
Brinks home security calls and we still cant shut it off, and the dogs run off somewhere so i cant find him and i need to just feed him and get out, my ears are ringing from the alarm, piercing loudly outside as well now. I find cooper upstairs cowering under a desk. I coax him out to feed him and get it done while the alarm continues to scream, finally resetting itself.

We attempt to call the family but they have both cells off, theyre in mexico too.
We manage to call a family member of theirs who knows the code for tomorrow morning so i dont alert the whole neighborhoods sleeping habits and get a bullet in my head.

Hope it works out and I can disarm it

Summer Greetings everyone.
 Radioactivate speaking. This is my second blog, after my previous one fell away from my thoughts I figured I would make a new one. At the current moment I am just trying to fix up my page to viewable standards. More to come soon.
